About

After completing six months of retreat practice in 2020, I was invited to train as an insight meditation teacher. My primary mentor was Marcia Rose, founding teacher of The Mountain Hermitage, with additional mentorship from Guy Armstrong and Sally Armstrong.

The training was a four-year apprenticeship, including study and assisting at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and Insight Meditation Society. I completed the training in 2024.

Prior Background
Before focusing fully on teaching, I trained and worked as a clinical psychologist in Denmark, and as a couple and family therapist and Somatic Experiencing practitioner in Canada. I am a member of the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (currently inactive).

This background informs an embodied and trauma-sensitive way of meeting experience. I no longer offer psychotherapy. My work is now dedicated to insight meditation teaching.

Teaching Today
Whether in a longer retreat or a single meeting, the intention is the same: to support a direct and living relationship with the Dhamma—learning to see clearly, to open the heart, and to trust one’s own intuitive wisdom.

All are welcome. Regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, racial background, age, ability, or tradition—if you are drawn to the Dhamma, you belong.
