Approach

The way I teach is grounded in the early teachings of the Buddha (the Pali suttas) and informed by the Burmese lineages of Mahasi Sayadaw (insight) and Pa Auk Sayadaw (samādhi).

At the heart of the work is the integration of clear seeing (vipassanā) with the heart practices (brahmavihāras)—loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity. These are not separate paths. They are two wings of one freedom.

What You Will Find Here
By clicking on the subpages, you can explore three aspects of the teachings:
  • Rooted in the Buddha's Teachings – key sutta references that guide this work, including the Four Noble Truths, the Seven Awakening Factors, the Three Characteristics, and more.
  • Skillful Means for Practice – practical tools drawn from Somatic Experiencing to support nervous system regulation, including resourcing and titration. These are offered as supports for meditators, not as therapy
  • Samadhi – Deepening Concentration – guidance on developing a calm, steady, unified mind through mindfulness of breathing (ānāpānasati) and other supports.

The Thread That Runs Through
Whether exploring the suttas, working with the body, or developing concentration, the intention is the same: to support you in developing your own direct relationship with the Dhamma.
