Scope of practice
I offer meditation instruction and contemplative guidance rooted in insight (vipassanā) practice.
These sessions are educational and experiential in nature and may include:
- Guidance in meditation practice
- Exploration of present-moment experience
- Awareness of bodily sensation as part of mindfulness practice
These meetings are not psychotherapy, counseling, or any form of clinical treatment, and they do not constitute a psychotherapeutic or clinical relationship. No assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of mental health conditions is provided.
Although I have prior professional training and experience as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, I am not acting in that capacity in this work, and no therapeutic relationship is established through these meetings.
I am a member of the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (inactive).
Participants are responsible for their own well-being. If therapeutic, psychological, or medical support is needed, please seek a qualified and licensed professional.
By participating, you acknowledge and understand the distinction between contemplative guidance and psychotherapy or clinical care.
